Biography

Andrew Shireman focuses his practice on litigation, regulatory compliance, and business advisory matters, drawing on over a decade of diverse legal experience across government, private practice, and corporate counsel roles. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts and has advised entities ranging from emerging businesses to public agencies.

Before joining Dressler & Peters, Andrew served as Legal Counsel for the Missouri Department of Social Services, where he represented the agency in child welfare matters and collaborated with courts, law enforcement, and service providers to achieve safe, permanent outcomes for families. He previously litigated a high-volume caseload with an emphasis on property law and appellate advocacy. His in-house experience includes advising on international regulatory compliance and business risk mitigation.

A former U.S. Army officer, Andrew served as a company commander in the Kansas Army National Guard, where he led over 100 soldiers and managed operational readiness and strategic coordination.

Andrew is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas. He holds a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law and a B.A. in Economics and Finance from Southwest Baptist University.
